I have seem something similar on Tire Stickers. It looks appealing in my personal opinion, however I have wondered how they will hold up over time and how much abuse it can withstand due to weather and other factors. If you want just a colored outline for the wheel, then a rim with a colored lip might be a better option.

I’ve done something similar to a mustang a couple years back. It looked awesome but be sure you’ll want to keep it a while. I used tirestickers.com, the permanent application option, and it looked great. Just keep in mind the smaller the font, the harder it is to stick on the tire itself and the more likely it would come off or start peeling off because there won’t be much surface area for the sticker to hold onto the tire. Good thing with tirestickers.com is that they will send replacement letters for free if they fall off. Not sure if they still do this but I found it very helpful when some came off unexpectedly.

I installed these on Pirelli P Zeros and Nitto Invo tires. I found the nittos made it easier to install because it had a very square and smooth sidewall. If your tires are more round and have more texture (logos, tire info, etc.) it might be harder for the letters to stick.

Last thing, wear some type of hand protection when you install them. The glue that came with the kit from tirestickers is very harsh on the skin and I pretty much had to rip it off. Not fun. I was initially wearing gloves but got impatient and paid the price.

Hope this is helpful! I personally love the way it looks but not sure if it’ll work with my Magno Grey C63s and bronze/gold of the Carbon Ceramic brakes.

Did you ever try their temporary product? Thinking of starting with that so in case i dont like the look i can just take it off right away. I actually thought the stickers would be sized to just cover the text on the tire but from what you said it seems like thats not the case.

Yeah i wasnt sure about it at first either on how it will look on my car but then thought no harm in trying it in red to go with the red calipers. Apart from the letters can I get that strip going around the tire as well from that website?

No, I haven’t used the temporary option before. Only permanent.

If you email or call them, they can help you size the letters with the look you’re going for. They’re very helpful. I gave them my tire size and they were able to run with that.

I wouldn’t see the strip around the tire being a problem for them either. It looks like they manufacture all of their own parts in house and can be customized how you’d like. The red letters and red calipers sounds like a pretty sweet combo though. Maybe the temporary ones would be worth a shot?

That is horrible. Especially people who do it on stock wheels/tires. Super tacky and ricerish.
