Congrats to you Tom, fellow Vancouverite.
Whats the ride like in comfort? I had a w204 C63 and the ride was unbearable. I hear the w205 was not much better but they improved things in 2019 refresh. Curious to your opinion on the sedan. We seem to only hear stuff on coupes.

its every year, they take good care of the cars..every year I get cars at port in August and I dont get them until thanksgiving.. they always seem fine, paint etc... they move them so no flat spots, wash them, start them etc...

I am expecting cars mid Nov...63 and earlier on 43's

And again, someone driving them in what manner (revving the engine cold after sitting a week or 3) and washing them with no telling what (just water and possibly dirty or contaminated towels (oops, dropped it on the ground, oh well) does not assuage my concerns.

You need to go back a few pages and read forward to where you're now asking this question. Short answer, nobody knows for sure. Nobody. Everyone is guessing.

The fact that someone in Canada has theirs is a good sign. I heard there was a situation like Tom taking possession of his car. But, when the car manufacturer heard, the owner was forced to return it to the agency until it was officially ready to be released. However, I'm sure this is not the case.

When we start hearing from other parts of the world (Germany, Australia, Canada (more than 1 from there) they're taking possession of theirs, you can expect the US market to open the floodgates and it will 'seem' llike every other car on the road is a C63S... looks JUST LIKE YOURS...

I'm still at the break in time. Can't said it's good or bad at this point but at the first 100km the transmission is really aggressive and not smooth at all. The sale said it need at least 1500km to learn my driving style and it will smooth out. Right now I have around 400km, the transmission start to smooth out already. I think the car be more smooth after it run in

The dealer informed me when the vehicle was assigned the vessel and gave me the name. I then tracked the vessel online.

Nyema, your public profile says you are in the US. I am curious how long has your car been at the VPC? Delivery in 10 days is a nice, firm sounding promise. Hope it happens for you. That would also suggest that someone actually knows when the release date is.
