Anyone have issues with orange peel?
Has anyone had issues with orange peel? I went to look at a car tonight, 2019 C63s sedan. The paint was terrible. Swirl marks and the worst orange peel I have ever seen on both sides. I detailed cars for a living for several years a long time ago, so I've seen a lot. The salesman said, "Oh it's no problem we can buff it out." You can't. It would have to be wet sanded and even then may not come out all the way because it was so bad. I have a car on order that should be in around November, just wondering if I should be concerned that it may arrive like that. If so, what will the dealer do about it? I can't see them having the car repainted for me.

There is orange peel on my white 2018 C63s. Not extreme but too much for a car that costs this much. With today's technology a white car paint surface should look like new porcelain.

I have not read about any paint issues with the W205 C63S in the forum so far.
What was the car's exterior color?
Is the car parked in the sun/outside all day?

I traded my Porsche Macan for my C63s mentioned above. The factory paint surface of the Porsche was much better than the C63s. This is a result of factory quality control (or lack thereof.) If this was a new $25,000 car, it would be acceptable.
