Front Fog Lights?

Is there a front fog lights system in the headlight assemblies of my 2018 C63s with LED Intelligent Lighting System? Googling 'Mercedes C class LED Intelligent Lighting System' shows a schematic video that with this light system the light reaches farther to the sides of the road in foggy conditions. Is there an automatic sensor tha detects fog as there appears to be no manual forward fog light switch, only a switch for the rear. The owner's manual is no help.

Mine turned on/off by itself on incoming car on foggy day. The indication sign is orange when it on.

really not a fan of this full auto system..a lot of times its not even dark outside but the car switches to headlights instead of just leaving the DRL on. whats the point of having that lights knob there when it doesnt even do anything.

When I got my C63S, this was the very first thing I observed. This is one of the first cars (that I've driven) where there is no Off switch for the light. You either have to leave it in Auto or force it into a specific mode. I guess there is no harm in leaving the headlights in Auto and don't bother when it comes on even when not needed. However, I rarely use Auto mode in other cars since I've had many cases (in rental cars) where the lights didn't come on when it should have.

The very first time, I turned it all the way to the other side assuming it was OFF, but it turned out that it only turned on the left side rights - LOL.

I have now left it in Auto since that's the only thing I can do
