19/20 setup for c63 non-s coupe

What are folks thoughts on the 19/20 setup for a 2018 c63 non-s coupe? I have my eyes on a set of tires but I wanted to know how the ride was for people who have that setup?

Just curious, the body, suspension, fitting, etc. is the same between S coupe and non-S coupe, right? Wouldn't this be identical to getting a stock S coupe with 19/20 wheels? Or you are curious about the ride quality from any such C63 Coupe owners with 19/20 wheels?

The answer to your question is very subjective. What's comfortable for some is too harsh for others. Perhaps a good idea is to find a used 2018 on a dealer lot with the 19/20 setup and take it for a drive to judge for yourself. Personally, I don't think you can feel that one extra inch in the rear, but that's just me. I assume you have 19 all around now. Key is to run proper tire pressure. These cars have a huge range of recommended tire pressure depending on load etc., make sure you check the sticker inside of the fuel door and use the recommended tire pressure for normal load (2 passengers and little cargo). Tires can also make a big difference in ride comfort. Some tires are harsher than others.

FWIW, I have the 19/20 setup on my 2019 C63S with the stock Michelin PSS tires. Once they are worn, I'll replace with the PS4S or maybe even earlier. In comfort mode the ride is very comfortable for my taste and on our relatively good roads. Many roads around here have been freshly repaved recently and a huge effort is ongoing to repave all of the neglected roads. I have to say the ride is more comfortable here than it was in Europe. I was kinda shocked about the state of the roads in Europe during my 2 months European Delivery road trip. I've never seen them in such bad conditions. I've test driven a couple of 2018 C63S with the 19/20 setup and didn't find the ride harsh, but the 2019s have a much improved suspension and ride quality, so not sure how I would feel about the 2018 at this point after 6000+ miles.
