Maybe I misspoke but what I meant by square was a 19" wheel on each corner instead of the 19"F/20"R. Hence my question - can I take a TireRack recommended wheel package for a C63 couple (19" rears) and be confident that it will fit my C63s?

I'm thinking you can as you can spec 19" wheels on a new C63s (9.0x19F/10,5x19R). I am just unsure of the offset on the 10.5x19 rears on this option..

Any help here would be appreciated as then I can figure out an aftermarket wintwr tire set up.

where are you located? Call some wheel shops and im sure theyll sort you out. I literally called a few, went to one, was shown the rims that would fit my car and voila all done.

Oh, I see. Going a size lower is the other aspect of a winter setup. It increases the sidewall height for additional protection from poteholes and other hazards hiding under the snow. The general recommendation for a winter setup is smaller and narrower. 18" would be ideal, but I don't think you can find an 18" wheel that clears the brakes on a C63S. You should go as small as the brake size allows.

^ what he said. I wanted 18s but wouldnt clear the brakes. The first two 19 rims i chose werent clearing the brakes either but i guess third time was the charm.

Not sure if it helps, but Dealer quoted me $2700 (Cad) + Tax for 4 pirelli's on my stock staggered setup on the existing AMG rims, so tires + install only. This is in Toronto.

If i go for a square setup on Michelin Alpines 255/35/19, it ends up being about $2500CAD for Tires + aftermarket rims from Costco. Feels like this protects my existing AMG rims, but... still need to purchase another set.

Given its a lease i'm a bit confused... maybe I can sell the winters at the end of the lease and recoup some of the cost.

You won't regret getting a set of winter wheels for your snow tires. If your cheap wheels get a little beat up by pot holes or curbs hidden under the snow, you don't need to lose sleep over it. Plus, it makes swapping seasonal tires on and off so much easier--not to mention that it spares your tires the wear and stress of being mounted and unmounted from your wheels. Just be aware that you'll also need to invest in a set of TPMS sensors for each of your new wheels.

Even though you have a lease, you'll still be able to recoup some value for your winter wheels and tires (if they don't fit your next new vehicle). That's what Craigslist is for!

Agree. My Jaguar F-Type R lease was up this year (hence the C63s purchase) and I got about 50% of the cost of my winter wheel set up back selling through the Jaguar owners forum. The performance difference between dedicated winter tires and summer tires at temperatures below 40 deg f is night and day.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Love X-Ice, which belongs to the class of true studless winter tires that are barely short of being studded. Performance winter tires as mentioned by the OP are somewhere between all-season and true winter tires.

I have the same question as above, but a bit confused. for the 19 coupe, if we want to do winter tires off of tire rack we need to get a 19'inch square setup - wheels and tires?

I'm going ahead with the square setup of 255/35/19 Michelin Alpine PA4. Given i'm in Toronto and we get a fair amount of snow, the thinner tires in the rear can only help and figured it'd be easier to flip a square set down the road vs a staggered setup.
i don't plan on driving the car when its snowing a lot, but on packed snow and cold days i'm hoping this is fine.

I was quoted by MB Dealership today $3.451.00 for winter Tire and Rim package. The tires are Pirelli winter Sottozero with staggered with front 255/35R19 and rear 285/30R19. Only one option for Rims. They are 5 spoke titanium gray.
I own 2019 C63S Coupe and live NYC area and this is my DD.
I purchased Tire and Rim warrenty.
Still not sure if I should purchase Winter Tire and Wheel package for $3.451.00 or just put winter tires on stock rims?

Do you have the wheel specs (or part numbers)? Be pretty easy to then cross reference with TireRack to see what will fit

TireRack costs with Pirelli Sottezero serie 2, TPMS, fitted, balanced and delivered is $2k.

Thanks. The on line price from Tire Rack for Pirelli Sottozero for set is $1068.76. The MB Dealership did not supply wheel specs or part numbers. I plan on going to privateTire shop. The MB Dealership said only 1 design for Rims that were Gray Titanium, 5 spoke.
Any suggestions for winter rims with brand names and company would be appreciated.

TPMS?

I’m assuming winter tires/rims set would need a dedicated Set of TPMS, dealership is ~$400, are there any other reliable places to get them?

^^THIS^^

If you buy a complete set of wheels and tires at TireRack and purchase the tire pressure monitors, they'll come fully mounted, assembled, and inflated. No fuss no muss. Then just drive them to a local CarX or wherever is closest and get them installed.

I haven't tried it yet, but is it safe to assume that all four tires will fit comfortably in the trunk of the C63s Sedan as long as the rear seats are folded?

Ready to purchase winter tires, MB Dealership quoted price for Pirelli winter Sottozero 2. Now I see Perelli has the next generation winter Sottozero 3.
Anyone familiar with the new generation? I have 2019 C63S coupe.

18" rim tire fit question

I bought a set of 18" AMG rims for no non-S coupe.

I've decided on the Pirelli Sottozero 3 but the max size is 275 for the rears. Does anyone know if a 275/40/18 will fit comfortably the rim that normally takes a 285 tire? Or should I go 275/45/18 instead?

dunno about the tire fitment but typically the skinner tires will dig deeper into the snow for better traction...

I got quoted price from Tire Rack but did not feel fully confident with specs for Tire/Wheel package girl gave me for my 2019 C63S coupe. MB Dealership has only one option for wheels which is the Titanium Gray not a favorite for me. The total package was $3,400. installed with Perilli Sottozero II. At lease I know that it's correct sizing. But don't know if living with wheels I not crazy about for say 5 months Nov to March.
I purchased Tire and Wheel package when new which has no deductible and includes cosmetics. So may just put these Pirelli on my beautiful forged cross spike black wheels which are covered by warranty.
