Hi I'm about to buy a used 2017 C63s(not certified pre-owned) from a dealer located in Paramus, NJ, while I sitting in my chair in Illinois. I don't want to fly all the way to the east, which would be a total waste of time.
So, just in case, I'd like to have a local mechanic to do an inspection on the vehicle to reveal any potential problem that could cost thousands to be repaired, and now I'm just lost when looking for a local mechanic to trust.

There are companies that provide this service - will send an ASE meachanic to where your potential car is acorss the nation, and perform an inspection and test drive, without you even being there. I used one yeats ago when buying a vehicle out of state, and highly recommend.

The best way is ask the owner take it into a Mercedes dealer and you pay for a full inspection report. What’s the mileages? Nothing to worry if it still under warranty. You only need to worry about cosmetic.
