I have a 2017 C63s edition 1 cabriolet. I have been getting this message for a while now. I took it to Paramus Mercedes in NJ and they said they fixed it but it popped up a week later. The only reason I don't want to bring it back because the car is tuned but this issue happened way before the tune was installed. anyone know what I can do or just detune the car and take it back to Mercedes?

That message popped up for me as well and a software update by the dealer fixed it. Others didnt have much luck with the software update and had to get the differential replaced so yeah take it to the dealer.
Ouch. I think they already did the software update. I didn't really get a chance to talk to the advisor and there wasn't much said on the paperwork that I got. from others do you know how long it took and think then I should just detune the car and take it back to Mercedes?
Take the tune off. Let them troubleshoot it 'a la natural...'. This eliminates the tune from the equation. Reason: if the error continues, it' not the tune causing the error. IF you leave the tune uploaded, once they potentially see that, they have the right to refuse repair on a modified car. Now that incident goes into their MB server upstream. This means after you are kicked out of one agency, the others won't even let you in the door for the same problem.
Take off the tune. Take it back to the same dealership and push it! If the SA denies, ask for the SM, if that doesnt work ask for the Assistant General Manager or THE General Manager. Keep asking upstream until you get the answer you want. Not what they want to tell you.

will do. I won't have time to take it to the dealership yet and first need to detune it of course. but for sure this happens even before I was thinking about getting a tune. I will for sure take the advice and will give you updates if any.
hello guys this is an update. i got the repair done back in Dec 11 2019 was when they completed it. i took it in for service on November 29, 2019. ever since then the message for me hasn't popped up. installed back the tune and everything seems to be great. the only time that it does pop up is when i tune and detune the car because that message was there before when i got the modified and original file back to me. these are the records from Mercedes.
