Question End of production date for the W205 C63S?

I've read that the W206 is supposed to be introduced as a 2021 model so I'm assuming that makes 2020 the final model year for the W205. Does anyone know when they're stopping production of the W205? I'm guessing it'll probably be late next year.

If you're talking about the W205 C63, I believe it will be produced in 2021 as well and the W206 C63 will be released as a 2022 model. Not sure about the other models. Usually AMG's and BMW M cars get produced for an extra year after the base models are updated.

The W206 C63 will likely be a 2021 car, so 2020 would be the last production year for the W205.

That would seem a bit short. More typical is 7 model years for a given generation. The W204 was sold for 7 model years. With the W205, 2015 was the first model year, so with 7 years that would make 2021 the last model year and 2022 the first model year of the W206, and the C63 for 2023. They just had the midcycle refresh in 2019 for the entire C Class. I doubt they only gonna make 2 model years of the face lift. 3 is more likely, so 2019, 2020 and 2021.

They also create Black editions, 507s and other fancy models to entice buyers to buy the last year models of a generation. These special editions usually just have few exterior bits and pieces different without much changes to the powertrain. I would say that the facelift model would last at least for three years. We might also see AMG skipping a model year for C63 when they switch over the production to the next generation.

The article says due in 2021, which would be as a 2022 model. And then they'd run the W205 another year.

Here's another incorrect article about next C-Class. MSN Auto article of Sep 27 2019 titled "Cars That Have Been Completely Redesigned for 2020" is wrong about C-Class and also the 3-Series:
