2019 C63S Car Alarm Going Off?
My car alarm has gone off twice now in the past day while parked, apparently for no other reason than someone walking across the the front of the vehicle. I turned it off with the key remote just fine. Everything seems to be in order.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is there some motion sensor at the front of the car that could have set it off? I can confirm there was no impact to the vehicle at all. I have a cabriolet and the top has been closed both times, too. Only thing I can see from the Connect App is that my starter battery shows "partly charged." Not sure if there is any correlation there at all. I have been only driving a about 10 minutes per day for the past several days.
Just checking to see if this is an aberration or a known issue? Anyone?

Hi. Last time I experienced something similar, all be it in my W204, it was a faulty rear SAM.
The fault was causing a battery drain and managed to kill the battery completely. Same symptoms. Alarm going off for no reason.
Dealer should be able to help.

What's a "SAM" again? A parking sensor or something? Hopefully, that's not the case here since it hasn't happened again. When it happened to you did it go off constantly/consistently or was it between days before happening?
