HRE's 2019 SEMA Reveal - Brand New 2-Piece S1SC Series
HRE just keeps surprising & impressing us time & time again. One of the perks of being HRE’s largest dealer in the world for over 15 years straight is that we get some inside knowledge of what they are developing before it actually releases. We were told a multi-piece version of their P1SC series was going to be showcased at SEMA this week so we were looking forward to 3-piece versions of those great wheel models. But, HRE had a little trick up their sleeve for everyone: 2-piece wheels. A new proprietary one-piece forged barrel, named “FMR” has allowed HRE to bring their first ever 2-piece configuration to market & it looks so damn good. Tell us what you think by commenting below!
“The S1SC is the first wheel line to utilize HRE’s new proprietary one-piece forged barrel, named FMR™
(Forged Monoblok Rim). The S1SC wheels feature aggressive styling similar to the Monoblok P1SC and
employ multiple technical design features for increased stiffness and reduced mass. In typical HRE fashion,
particular attention was paid to spoke details, including intersection points and the fastener flange surfacing.”

As @alexasa mentioned Titanium Hardware is one way. In all honesty though, I've never had an HRE customer come to me with rusted bolts a wheel any younger than 15 years.
