How many individuals can be programmed?

The question: can I set up the car and then simply press a button to engage a pre-programmed setting for suspension, mode, traction, exhaust, seat position, everything? The follow-up question: can there be more than one program saved? One for me and one for the wife?

Yes and no. Yes, you can setup the Individual mode with your preferred suspension mode etc., but things like the seat position is not tied to the individual mode. For the seat position, steering wheel and mirror position you have the seat memory. You can save up to three different positions. So you and your wife can each store your seat, mirror and steering wheel position and then recall it with the buttons on the door. In the individual mode you can have your preferred setting for the engine, transmission, exhaust, suspension and AMG Dynamics, which controls steering and overall driving dynamics, think ESP on steroids. You can have multiple individual profiles. They are associated to the user profiles in the multimedia system along with all other vehicle settings such as ambient light, digital cluster layout etc. So you and your wife can each have their own user profile and then you simply need to select the profile you want and everything gets personalized to you. Unfortunately the profiles are not tied to the keys, but there is a setting if checked it will display the user profile selection screen when you start the car, so you can quickly select your profile and your wife can select her profile. The profiles can also be synced to the cloud and then you can adjust some of the vehicle settings in the Mercedes Me Connect app and then they get synced back to the car next time. So if you feel like changing the ambient light color for the next day, you can do that on the phone and when you get to the car it will be changed once it syncs.
