Thanks for the thorough response - you've been a big help so far.
Ha, my thought was the same. What in the world did someone trade in a top of the line performance MB for? Must have been a GT-R.
If I were to proceed with this car, I'll request the full service history and have it inspected by my dealership. As enticing as it is with the options, color being what I want, etc.. I'm not sold on it yet either.
MB allowing me to purchase an extended warranty is going to be instrumental in the decision. I've got to have that.
Makes sense on the clutch vs. TC. I'd say I noticed more of a jerkiness, and that's probably what I was feeling.
All in all, if I'm buying a performance car that's only a few years old, I feel like it's reasonable to expect the car to be close to immaculate / not need anything.. especially if coming from any sort of dealership? I'm not crazy, am I? My current vehicle has been maintained that way.
