Issues with exhaust tips
So some background on the car, it's ~6 months old and covered ~5,300 miles. The exhaust tips are looking a mess already. I've popped into my local MB dealer and the service advisor claimed that he isn't too sure if it will be covered under warranty. He's claming an external factor most likely caused this. The car is cleaned either by myself or the detailing company I use and we don't use any harsh chemicals. The rest of the car seems to be fine. Has anyone else had issues?

Your SA should definitely be doing more than moving his gums. However, your detailing company should be able to polish out the corrosion if they know what they are doing. Do you live by the ocean? Salt air and heat can cause this pretty quickly if the surface isn't protected with a heat-resistant sealant.
