Welcome to the broken front lip club 😂

I’ve broken it 4 times so far.....very easy to replace at least!

Quote: So it finally happened, I pulled into a parking spot too far and cracked my front aero lip, furious at myself. Mine is gloss black and I want to replace just the middle piece (#7 in the diagram). Unfortunately the part description just says "2019-20, with carbon pkg, center". As far as I can tell from doing searches here, th front lip only comes in gloss black even if you ordered CF pkgs #1 and #2, can anyone please confirm?

Part #205-885-74-01-64
Where are you from? Check here

Are you driving over bumps/inclines at an angle? At $300 a pop to replace, I'd just leave it off.

Not a direct answer, but I have not found any information that it comes in finishes other than gloss black.

Yes, mainly garage entries. I have to be extremely careful

I have two more replacements at home, if I break them I will definitely give up

I can’t believe it. I cracked it again in another spot. This time I ran over debris on the hwy. I am glad I haven’t replaced it yet. Should be here on Monday. I would’ve been so mad if I had replaced it already.....

I am wondering if I should just get a CF version. Should be stronger.

Maybe a bit stronger, but if you break it will surely be much expensive

lol. I do believe that the lip protected the bumper itself. If you look at it that way then it’s actually better to have the lip.

Honestly, if it breaks again then I will give CF a try. Maybe it’ll withstand Shock a bit better and not crack.

Lol. I really hope not. I wish some aftermarket company makes a replacement piece around $100 price point. It wouldn’t be so bad then.
