Had seen and read other threads about it. Now it has happened to me. Have an intermittent miss and CEL occasionally on my 2018 C 63WS. Took it in today and dealer said two weeks to two months to get the part. Also said it was okay to drive. Anyone had this problem recently?

There was a recall on coil packs on earlier models

It's okay to drive but it might give a shudder etc. at times or sound like a 4 cyclinder and idle rough but you'll get places. I did it for a few weeks with mine. It should not take them 2 months to get a coil pack!

By the way, when this happens it's only one coil pack that will need replacing. There's 4 x in total for our cars and you seldomly have to replace them all so just get one done.

God I hate that CEL light.
