New to Mercedes, Picked up a C63 AMG coupe
Picked up a 2017 C63 coupe a few months ago. Had been lurking on the forum but decided to make an account. I'm coming from a BMW 335i coupe that I did just about everything to other than upgrading turbos. Almost pulled the trigger on a BMW M4, but the test drive of the Benz sold me on it. I had been missing the rumble of a V8 and the car just spoke to me.
So far I'm loving the car. It is a non S model. It's Designo diamond white, has black 19" AMG cross spoke forged wheels, AMG performance seats, AMG performance exhaust, navigation, park assist, red and black napa leather interior and head up display. The performance seats and interior were the deciding factor for me picking this one over another I was looking at that didn't have those options.
The car had the front license plate bracket mounted to the front bumper by the prior owner. Since Florida doesn't require that I removed the bracket and had a body shop repair the bumper. Since getting it I've added carbon fiber side skirt insert covers and a carbon fiber duck tail style trunk spoiler. I'll probably stick to cosmetic mods for now so as to avoid voiding the warranty, but downpipes and a tune are definitely in the future as it feels a little slower than my last car.
I've attached a couple pics from the day I brought it home, as well as how it currently sits. Need to add some carbon fiber to the front, just not sure which direction I want to go as of yet. Let me know your thoughts.

Sweet car...like the mods so far.
Unfortunately CF mods don't show up real well on an Obsidian Black car
I am also in the same boat trying to decide when to do performance mods as my car is a CPO until 2023.

Appreciate it!
Thank you.
The subtlety of carbon fiber on a black car looks good though! As for the performance mods, the Benz tax is real and heavy compared to other platforms. That, in addition to the desire to maintain the warranty, is helping make it easier to wait on them.
Thank you.
