Hey guys!

Firstly, this has probably been done 1000 times, i had a quick search on my phone but didnt find any threads... dont flame me if i missed something

After some advice for my lil beast. Ive been looking into a few things I can do for paint protection, as the car does get used quite a bit and sits outside in the weather a lot. Im leaning towards Xpel, and choosing between the Ultimate and the Stealth (same level of protection, one is clear, the other makes your car finish satin!)

Basically Im trying to decide on car colour and rim colour combo. Im murdering out the car, im not interested in changing colours, just need help picking which blacks lol. My car is currently the Metallic Obsidian Black factory paint. All badges are already black, grills, door handles all trims are gloss black (only internal distronic star is silver as it cant be painted supposedly and amg badge). Im also buying a set of Vossen 20" HF-2's, they will be in a black to suit the vehicle, and this is where it gets tricky! I only want to order 1 set of rims, and i want the colour combo to be right.

1) Do i stay factory black and get the Ultimate clear Xpel wrap or go satin black Xpel wrap? Im pretty sure all trim etc will be left gloss, need to confirm with the shop.
2) If i stay factory black and get clear wrap do i get Satin or Gloss black rims?
3) If i go Satin Black Wrap do i go satin or gloss rims?

I know Satin black on Satin black works, but does gloss black rims on satin black paint work? Im also pretty sure satin black rims on metallic paint isnt the best look but works and gloss is fine. So is Satin the safe option. Love to get everyones feedback on colour combos and no hate if possible haha
