Do all of us a favor; just put vinyl over it. Don't remove it. You'll permanently damage the value of the vehicle, as the OEM stripes are not a standard size (they taper), and you'd be hard pressed to return it to original after removing it. There's only a handful of these in the country as it is...

Car looks great. I picked up a 2017 coupe a few months back and have been sticking to cosmetic mods so far as well. First thing I did was take off the front plate bracket and have the bumper holes repaired - came out great and cleaned up the front of the car. Then I added some carbon fiber pieces and had the car ceramic coated after one step of paint correction. That's all so far, but I am chomping at the bit to get into performance mods.

Ditto. And I'm NOT a fan of flamboyant/yellow on cars. But on the Edition 1, it just works beautifully.
Having said that, while I have the attention of a bunch of my fellow Edition 1 Coupe owners, anyone know if AMG released an Edition 1 specific car cover?

I considered that one, but I REALLY want a soft microfiber type material car cover with a yellow stripe going down the top of the left side, just like the OEM yellow vinyl. Not sure if I'll be able to get the AMG logo on it, but gonna try. If anyone's interested in one like that, lemme know; maybe we can get a group order price
