Going to buy a used pre-facelift coupe, the dealer have both colors available.
The white looks more sporty, shiny
The grey looks more compact, and mean.
Having hard time choose between the two, any advice?
Thanks.

I second that. Do a search on matte paint. Folks disagree on the ease of maintenance, but most agree that if you have paint damage it's difficult to repair. Matte paint can't be polished, so any kind of paint damage essentially means repainting and it's also hard to match unless you repaint the whole car or at least a large part to hide the imperfect match. Most body shops will tell you the paint is impossible to match properly. If you go for matte paint it's highly advisable to wrap the whole car with paint protection film. That's not cheap.

White. The matte grey looks like an overcast cloud.

If the the matte was something unique like Night Black magno or colors out of the G-order book then it's another story
I see selenite grey magno everywhere, and it's not even exclusive to AMG's. I've seen C300 coupes with it. And personally I think it is it the weakest of the magno offerings. Pass

Egg ? ok that's a little funny, not a fan of the matte look but the white (in my opinion anyway) looks pretty good/unique... don't see a lot of it here... with black accents, i like it...

The c300 you see could be a wrap, I think theres no option for c300 for this color.
However, nowadays wraps comes in full color specturm, none of the color is exclusive to any model or brand anymore.

Don't think it was a wrap man. If you're basing it off of the online configurator, the website is not always accurate with all the options.
I am almost sure I've seen it on the C300 but there is also absolutely a ton of other non-AMG selenite magno cars running around.
The MB diamond white is one of the nicest whites imo - can't go wrong with it
I have a diamond white 63s coupe. While it’s beautiful in the sunlight. White hides the aggressive flare fender under certain lighting. With the matte color you can really see the aggressive flare and all the aggressive line.
