Yomato Carbon

Hello all, I ordered a spoiler from Yomato Carbon last week and they haven’t replied to me in regards to ship date yet. Has anyone else had trouble contacting them recently?

Hey,

It takes a LONG time for them to get your order confirmed. Then it takes an even longer time to actually ship your item. I ordered the Red Start/STOP button from them and it took almost 1 month to get it. It took about a week and a half before I got my order confirmed and another week for shipping information.

Just be patient, it will be a LONG TIME. lol

I placed an order on 4/10 and got an order confirmation that day. I then received an email on 4/13 saying the order had been shipped. On 4/16, I got a general COVID impact email sent to their mailing list saying things are shipping out slowly due carrier shutdowns, but orders will go out and you'll receive an email with tracking when they do. Well my order has shipped email didn't contain tracking so I've emailed them a few times asking for that tracking info. No response at all. And I can't locate any phone number.

Anyone have any better ideas on how to get in contact with these guys?

I ordered a red carbon fiber start button from these clowns on 3/9...I sent numerous emails to support, info and something else @yomatocarbonfiber.com along with their own website and tried calling and never got a single reply. I finally got an email on 4/13 stating that my item had shipped with no tracking provided. I tried to reach out again to get tracking, as its not been another week, and I dont expect a reply. I think the worst part is, this doesnt seem to be covid related, despite their email, as this seems to be their M.O. Pretty disappointing.

was it at least worth the wait? Thats what ive been waiting on for 6 weeks already

That was my guess too; that it's not actually COVID related. I don't know. Maybe things are different in Canada right now, but they blamed it on their carriers and in the US I have used USPS, FedEx, and UPS in the last couple of weeks with no stops or delays at all in services.

What phone number did you try?

Are there any alternate options for a similar button? I know there's a lot of really cheap covers out there, but I was looking for a full button of what looked to be pretty good quality from Yomato.

All I found is the same - crappy covers. We shall see, thankfully its not an important part, so waiting is annoying, but not life or death. Im more angry that they are completely unresponsive.

Yep, same here. If they would at least respond and say we are working on it, but slowed because of "x" and it will take a few more weeks then that would be much better. As we mentioned, I don't think I'm buying the carrier/shipping excuse given I have not seen any such delays for the dozens of other things I've been ordering over the last several weeks. But the complete unresponsiveness is sure as hell not reassuring.

I have ordered twice from Yomato and orders arrived within 2 weeks. They clearly state on their website to give them 2-4 weeks of lead time. Plus with the current situation i dont know what you were expecting. I ordered stuff from local shops and didnt get it until a month later due to current situation.

I definitely get where you are coming from but at the same time I think it is unfortunate because lately I have been noticing a trend up in threads with products that are taking too long or just bad customer service overall. Hope it all gets sorted out for you

Curious if anyone has any updates on successfully received orders or even any communication from them?

I called one of their dealers also located in Montreal to see if they knew anything about what's going on at Yomato. He tried calling them and also got no response. He also mentioned there has not been any disruption with shipping / carriers up there. So between that disproved excuse and how they are ghosting all customers, it seems something shady is going on with Yomato.

Got this email this morning and I still haven't received my start button ordered on 3/9/20. I have now tried every email and number I could find, and they have not responded once. No tracking provided...literally zero customer service. Now they want me to send them pictures of a part I still have not got...lol!

Yep, I got that yesterday. Unbelievable. The multiple people with the same experience here where Yomato takes your money, never sends a product, and never responds to any attempts to figure out what's happening should be a warning to all. Yomato Carbon seem to be scammers and should be avoided at all costs.

hmm strange. I have ordered from them before and didnt have any issues. Was going to use them again for side skirts but after this thread will probably go elsewhere. better safe than sorry

Received an email on 4/13 stating my order placed on 3/9 had shipped and tracking would be sent. After it was never sent I decided to write a couple negative reviews online and suddenly I get an email with tracking. Tracking shows the label for shipping wasn't created till 5/1. So many excuses throughout the process...never again...

Haha, yep. So I emailed (several times over several weeks) any email address I could find related to the company or the owners. On Saturday, I finally got a response from the personal email of one of the owners whose email I found on some random listserv of hundreds people. Didn't even know if it was the Yomato guy or someone else with the same name. Well, I got the response below. I was wondering if they'd see this thread since they obviously have many customers on here and that would spur them to actually fulfill customer orders. I think it probably did just like you may have finally got yours shipped because of the negative reviews. Anyway, I'm not celebrating until I actually receive the product. And just like you, would not order from them again.
