C63 Low Pressure Fuel Pump Upgrade Help

This is probably a long shot, but maybe someone who has tuned their c63 and upgraded the LPFP or has tuned cars in the past can help. we are swapping the c63 fuel pump into our c43. The fit is perfect and everything looks good. The only issue is we are not 100% sure what to connect to this end of the angled piece. From my research it seems to be a venturi pipe or part of that system and it may pull fuel from the other side of the saddle tank. But then I wonder how the c43 is doing the same operation if we do not have that piece. I look at BMW LPFP and see they all have this angle piece as well. Can anyone tell me what this hooks to? We tried closing it off and running the car, everything ran fine at idle and under medium throttle. wide open it faulted and fuel cut off. I am assuming this is needed as an extra feed for this higher flow pump. Any help would be appreciated and if you upgraded your LPFP in your C63 if you have pictures or what you upgraded to that would be awesome! Just trying to figure out where to run this hose.

just an educated guess here, by looking at that bmw diagram. looks like that extra tube would have something to do with the jet pumps which lead to the fpr. without it maybe the fpr did not read enough pressure hence the fault.
again just an educated guess.

Is there no way the the C63 pump could be integrated into your original C43 casing?
According to WIS the fuel pressure regulator is built into the fuel pump/filter unit , there is also a fuel pressure sensor built into this unit. If the scaling for this sensor is different from your C43 sensor you could run into issues.
Unfortunately on EPC the fuel pump module is listed as a complete unit so I couldn't tell you the part numbers for the C43 and C63 LP fuel sensors.
The W204 C63 ran eductor type fill units that ran off the discharge of the fuel pump , looking at your pictures this also appears to be the case in the W205. In your pictures it appears both modules have a locally mounted eductor (blue topped unit in pictures) the only difference I can see is the C63 has provisions for connecting tank mounted eductors as well.

The first thing I would try is to fit the C63 pump to the C43 pump module,if you can't do this I would try and find the LP fuel sensor and see if swapping this rectified the issue.

Sorry I cant be more help , there is very little info on WIS and EPC on module type components, Ive attached the wiring diagram for the w205 C63 in tank connections, using the connector pinout you should be able to locate the pressure sender B4/7
B4/2 is the fuel sender
M3 fuel pump
B4/1 N/A

.
