Chip Tuning Stage 2

Hi

have you used boxes loading maps from AMR PERFORMANCE and DME TUNING and VR TUNED?

Which map from the above will be the best?

from what I see AMR PERFORMANCE and VR TUNED gives two maps from the first purchase of DME TUNING requires a surcharge for the stage 2 map

waiting for answers

Out of curiosity, what are the 6 off the shelf tunes? I see one is a stock file (I presume the one pulled from the vehicle before loading a tuned file), but what are the other 5?

Correct.

We give you stage 1 and 2 for both 91 and 93 octane, as well as a valet mode.

Gotcha. What are the differences between the Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunes? Also, what does the valet mode change? I presume the valet mode is a speed limiter of some kind, but is there anything else (i.e. reduced boost)?

Depending on the vehicle, valet mode is speed limit, rpm limit, boost limit, etc.

Upgraded downpipes are what separates stage 1 and 2. Power gains are listed on the product.

@AMR_Matt you guys have a solid reputation in the c43 market but haven’t seen or read much on the 63’s. Do you guys have any customer Dyno’s or experiences?

We even had a 2019 C63s sponsor car at SEMA back in November.

I just placed my order from Matt@AMR. I’ll try and get it on the dyno in the next couple of weeks. Next up is new tires.

Just be aware while flash tunes are easy to install they can never be fully removed. The ECU, trans computer, stability control computer, and others will retain peak load and torque values.

We cover many of the differences of JB4 vs. flash tunes and other piggybacks in our FAQ.

JB4 has a low torque indicator? can it be increased? the competition proposes from 130NM to 155NM, while maintaining the 95-105HP ratio

Not sure what you're asking? With a JB4 in place torque readings by ECU and other modules will be factory despite actually making dramatically more torque. The amount of actual torque depends on the JB4 map selected and other settings like boost by gear.

You'll have to search around, we have around 350 C63 vehicles tuned now. I'm sure many have posted charts around this forum and others.

Just installed the @AMR Performance 91 octane tune and wow what a difference! The c63 is an animal now. I drove around the block and could not stop smiling. You can really feel the added torque. throttle response is much more responsive with less lag in all modes.

The AMR tune is not the cheapest option but they give you the stage 1 and 2 tune for both 91/93 octane and the ability to switch to valet or stock. When I priced out other tunes, AMR was just slightly more than other competitors stage 2 tune with less maps and features(excluding plug and play tunes)

Did i mention that the install was dead simple?? It took me 15 minutes from start to finish.

kudos to the AMR guys to delivering an amazing product.
