Question 😓 How do you remove the front bumper night package trim?

Hey boys,

Is it possible to remove the front bumper Night Package trim without taking off the whole bumper bar? One of my clips weren't fitted correctly by the dealer last time they had my bar off and I would like to adjust it back into place.

Any idea if this black trim can removed without removing the whole bumper bar?

Regards,
George Lisciandro

If you're talking about the three silver trim pieces, they're held on by tabs on the trim pieces themselves.I recently bought the OE gloss black pieces as well as OE black tail pipes. Then, one last thing to do is to replace the window trim. Currently, everything is wrapped. But, I do not care for it. Looks just like it's wrapped...

Right, the 3 silver trim pieces those just click into the gloss black section......... got it but does the gloss black section behind the 3 silver trim pieces also just snap into the bumper?

Thanks mate....... I know you have been collecting the trims for your car 🙂

Yes, the black piece behind also just snaps into the bumper. Not always possible to remove without breaking any clips so if you plan to reuse be careful. I swapped mine out for a CF piece and removed the bumper to do so.

Ah! That's a worry.......... What tools did you use to remove the black piece? Would a trim removal tool be alright like this set?

Didn't matter much for me luckily since I was swapping out the whole part so broke quite a few of the tabs because it was just easier. The bottom two tools with painters tape wrapped around the tips to keep from scratching the paint on the bumper anywhere is what I used.

u are a champ.......... and you are right those tabs are not meant to be taken out I had a few close calls with them breaking off so I have now put double sided tape in the weakened ones but it worked with the tools................ thanks dude

What did you use to install it? Your hand or soft mallet?

Just used the palm of my hands and firmly pushed them back in until they clicked........ they snap right in and once they lock in thats it.......... they wont budge which makes removing them such a pain in the ****

I also rushed in and didnt use painters tape to protect the night package garnish while removing the trim pieces.......... it seems the night package is just gloss wrap and not paint because my roughness created a small bubble which i could press and it would move around?

I do hope to see yours with the night package installed soon.......

George Lisciandro
