Has this happened to anyone? Stayed like this my entire drive home. Turned the car completely off, restarted and went back to normal. A glitch or ominous sign of more to come?

 

It happened to me once, press and hold cd eject button for 10-15 sec. it will reset the command screen.

 

Yep happened to me once also. Holding the power fixed it.

 

Yeup happened to me once already and my car has less than 1000 miles on it. I assumed it was an OTA firmware update or something. I freaked at first because it happened to me right when I turned on the car and pulled into reverse to back out of my driveway. But I was running late and couldn't stop to investigate, other than restarting the car which didn't seem to fix it. It just finally booted up a few blocks later after I kept driving.
