Someone is telling me this is an OEM part made for another market outside the US.

Anyone ever see a genuine part with part number and QR code printed like this?

 

I work on Mercedes all the time.. Looks like a fake part to me. A genuine part isn't that sloppy with the part number printing. It's always sharp and legible. The small Mercedes star looks too fat too.

A larger picture of the part may help too. If it is a knock off the edges and corners won't be as finished and the quality of the plastic will be lower too.

 

I think the round sticker with Chinese writing says something?

 

LOL was going to say the same thing. Kind of a dead giveaway. All signs point to fake.

 

that Chinese mean the warranty, if you took off the sticker will avoid the warranty. and yeah it looks like Chinese product, not genuine part and not even OE part...
