Remote Start Question

Guys,

The Remote Start feature, when you start the car from your iPhone and then open the door, the car switches off.

Is there any fix to keep the car running? I know its a safety thing but i would prefer the car kept running, instead of me pressing the start button etc again.

Cheers,

I believe nope. That function is mainly for starting AC in advance if temperature is too high/low, plus heating up the drivetrain a little bit IMO. I don't see people using it a lot, and frankly I don't know any cars that would keep the engine running when you unlocks it.

My Acura MDX continues running when you unlock the car. To drive away, you need to press the start button. Which of course means you have the key.
