Back form BMW M world...
Hi all,
Back after 10 years of driving M cars. I have to say its nice to back in a car that isn't as fussy. With that said, the forums leaves a lot to be desired. Specifically, I wonder if there is a reason why we don't have sub categories like for sale for owners and sponsors; engine related topics, car maintenance/detailing and so on. Just a thought to help keep the forum fresh and easy to use with less clutter and spam.
After my M5 was sold it took less than a week to sell all my mods. I hope we can make some changes here to help our MB family

This forum never will be as busy as a BMW forum just because there isn't as many AMG's on the roads (good thing). When I go out I see like five M cars to one AMG here in NYC.

I came from the BMW world right before my current AMG, and comparing the forums I would echo what was said above. There just is not the traffic on these boards to warrant more granularity in the sub forums. It's a different crowd in general, and less are interested in modifying their vehicles to the same degree.
True in Texas too. I live/work in affluent areas with new luxury and super cars everywhere, and it is 10 M-cars to every AMG I see on the road. And even then, most of the AMG's are some SUV variant. 
I actually see AMG GTs more often than an E63, C63, etc.
