According to parts site, springs are exactly the same part numbers. Front dampers are different, rears are the same... Same sway bars also.... I bet the front dampers have a wider vlaving so they can tune them further. E92 M3 comp did the same with their dampers.

Plus FL has been faster on track on many instances so not sure what that reviewer is talking about.

This article is the only one I've seen that mentioned 10% and 20%. AMG during the unveiling said 8-10%. Not sure if that means 8 in the front and 10 in the rear, but I highly doubt it's 20% just based on personal experience. It might not be the spring rate itself, but the effective spring rate via the damper adjustments if it's indeed true that the part numbers are exactly the same, revision # and all. I haven't checked myself.

That sounds more realistic. Sorry, I meant the article stated 10% and 20% not AMG.

I wonder if the new spring rates etc. was also tweaked on the facelift sedans?

I'm pretty much ignoring this article. I get the impression that they didn't know what they were doing. FWIW, with the FL, the coupe set a faster lap time around the Nurburgring than the 204 Black Series. Previously the 205 was slower, so the proof is in the pudding as they say.

My dealer pulled part number from MB WIS by using my 2015 vin# and my friend’s 2020 vin#, and did see different prt numbers, all 4 corners. Hence I ordered a set for his car. Howver the theory replacing springs alone w/o damping software update may not accomplish the goal fully may stand, I will see from there. Parts ordered from Germany take about 4 weeks to arrive...
