3rd gear start TC off , manual mode.
depending on your level of mods will affect if you need the TC on or off, I keep the car in manual mode so if you have to peddle it for traction reasons when you floor it again it doesn’t down shift again, I also shift at 6000.

C63S coupe 2020
For me personally i found auto to yield the best times on my stock coupe 2020 model. I got 8.8 flooring it from about 60km/h, TC fully off.
bad DA around 2700 ft, high humidity 29 degrees celcius.
i think with better weather it can do low 8.
I tried 10s of times with manual mode, shifting at 6000-6700, all >9.3. I suspect that might not be the case with the prefacelift transmission though and definitely on tuned cars which might benefit from different shifting points depending on the tuner’s powerband.
