2019 AMG C63S Coupe
Hello - I'm headed to the dealer to buy a new 2019 AMG C63S Coupe in about a week. I am being told that they sell these at sticker price because there is such a high demand for them, however I can clearly see there is about a $4000 profit the dealer makes between the invoice value and the MSRP. My question is has anyone been able to negotiate a dealer down below MSRP on a new AMG? If so, what tactic did you use? Curious about any negotiating tips anyone might have out there.

It's the right page. OP's buying a 205. There's no way I would pay MSRP for a 2019. It will depreciate like a rock the moment you drive of the lot. The 2021 are around the corner, so effectively this car is 2 model years old and it has depreciated accordingly, even though it's technically a new car. Many have gotten discounts on their C63, especially left over previous model years. They are trying to pull one over, because they get incentives from MB/AMG to move left over models. They'll make a much bigger profit than you think if you pay MSRP. Given that they are still sitting on a 2019 is clear evidence that nobody has wanted this car yet and they are trying to make a killing on you. I got a no hassle 5% on my coupe back when the FL was just released, but I did European Delivery. Others had gotten up to 7%, and seeing 10+% on left over models seems pretty normal, although most of them are sedans. The coupes are more rare.

That's insane that they are asking MSRP on 2019 model! You should be asking for 10%+ discount on those.
If paying MSRP, I would just order 2021 model.
BTW, I got about 7.5% discount on my 2020 C63s Coupe.
