ASR exhaust module for Coupé

Hi all,

Just picked up a MY16 ED1 Coupé, I've had a Active Sound / ASR exhaust module fitted to my previous station wagon and it worked superb.
Surely it must work for the coupé also? I'm just asking before I order since I've heard that the coupé is designed a bit different and has got a louder exhaust note to begin with.

Thank you in advance

PS. does anyone know a good looking carbon fiber rear diffuser that also allows the ED1 trim to be fitted on it?

UPDATE

Got the module today, super easy fit and better than the Active Sound module as you have to cut-in to the CAN-BUS (did this on my STW C63) which is not super nice.

Installation was really easy and took me about 3 minutes. First impression is that there is not really any difference in sound, not on idle or when revving but I’ll try it out for a couple of days and see if I notice any difference worth the money.

C63S Coupe
Hi

Congratulations on the car.

I have a 2017 Coupe C63S in Australia. Ordered the ASR Module because of the positive reviews on this forum. There was no difference whatsoever between ASR ON and stock Exhaust button ON.

Thank you for your input, I see that RENNtech offers them when looking at the "C63 Coupé" department so I would like to have some more input from other users also.

I have the Renntech one for my 2018 C63s Coupe. I would’ve went with ASR but for whatever reason they don’t work for 2018s.

I can confirm there is a difference between On and Off with the Renntech one. I even get more pops on deceleration and a louder/deeper note when at cruising speeds. Is it worth the price? It’s up to you to decide. I’m happy with mine!

Thanks! I’ve ordered an ASR now, judging by the looks I would guess that the RENNtech module is just an ASR module with badges.

Will post the result when I’ve received mine.
