Disconnect battery to do Panamericana Grille Swap ?

Hey everyone! I’ve recently purchased a 2018 C63 AMG CPO from a dealer out of state and I’m waiting for it to be delivered next week. One of the first mods I’m looking at doing is a grille swap. I know there’s more than just the grill, there’s the bumper inserts and vents, new glass badge etc I’ll need as well.

My question is if I were to install these at home, do I need to disconnect my battery? If so, will I get a bunch of fault codes after reconnecting the battery?
or maybe the car won’t end up starting at all? Lol

Also, any one have a part number for the refreshed glass badge that also is one that lights up? (My car has this options but it’s the old star, and I do not have distronic)

Really appreciate any info!

No need to disconnect battery. You can if you really want to, it's pretty easy just go to the boot, lift up the plastic boot lining, disconnect negative (minus sign) and whenever you re-connect it will auto adjust time again on it's own. You don't lose anything
