AWE Track Exhaust on the FL C63S Coupe

Hi all!

I have a 2019 FL C63s Coupe AMG with the secondary cats deleted. I’m interested in getting the AWE Track exhaust to go along with it.

Just wondering if any one has done a similar set up on the facelift and how does it sound like? (I.e drone, cold start, pops/crackles, etc)

Any vids would be highly appreciated!

I don’t believe you can install awe track exhaust because their valve simulator does not work on later c63s model.
If you install this, your car will go into limp mode.

This is not true at all. I have the track exhaust installed on my 2020 and the valve simulators do work and keep it out of limp mode as intended.

For the sound,, I have catless downpipes as well so its essentially straight piped. The cold start is extremely loud. In general the car is just loud. Drone really isn't that bad surprisingly. I will probably install the switchpath conversion kit at some point as it is a little too much sometimes especially when pulling up to nice restaurants and hotels..

Don't get me wrong the track exhaust sounds great on this thing. It sounds like an old muscle car, has that nice chop at idle, sounds really aggressive on throttle and of course the pops and bangs are crazy loud.

The only time I find it TOO loud is on a cold start when I'm leaving a hotel or restaurant. It quiets down to a very reasonable level once the cold start is done. As far as on the road noise goes, if you leave it in comfort mode and go easy on the gas its not obnoxiously loud. But throw it in sport plus or race and you can definitely make a bit of a scene if you want to

My bad. I read few people having issue from this post so I thought it was not compatible.
