JMO - for me it would be pure900, direct bolt-on and plenty of power. Not sure what the benefit of E63 turbo would be compared to a pure900. I assume its also more cost effective. But I am no real turbo expert.

The Pure 900 setup would be much more cost effective; I think they're $3,500 now (with shipping your stock turbos back to Pure for a refund of the core deposit). I don't even think you could source the E63 manifolds easily, if at all. But if you were able to get the twin scroll manifolds you'd then need to pay full price for the E63 turbos.

I considered the same thing for the benefit of a twin scroll setup, but I don't think the benefits outweigh the costs.

I brought this same topic up years ago when there weren’t as many aftermarket turbo upgrades available as there are today.

I gave it a serious consideration, but after researching the cost for sourcing E63S exhaust manifolds and the turbos, it didn’t make sense to go down that path when you have plenty of stock frame turbo upgrades that make more power than the trans can handle.

The other major deciding factor in not going down that rabbit hole is that the E63S twin scroll setup will hit even harder down low than our small stock turbos do, and that torque down low doesn’t help with traction - you’re better off shifting that torque higher up in the RPM band for the sake of traction.
