I believe they will need to be changed and now wanted to prepared and informed of my options if the front rotors also need to be replaced. If so, I like to get the Dealership repair cost for both front rotors and brakes vs. a FCP Kit, not sure if it's Kit # 0044208420 or Kit# 0004206600. I guess they mailed the Kit to you then had an Indy install?
I had my summer tires installed last week at All Tires and Repair shop but I neglected to ask the mechanic the conditions of the rotors.
Attached below photos of my front rotors and comments would be helpful if just eyeing them I would need them to be replaced. I don't feel any braking issues.thanks.
The kit for the S is KIT-0004206600. The other one is for the non-S (smaller rotors). The key criteria for replacing the rotors is the remaining thickness of them unless there are other obvious issues which I'm not seeing any from your picture. Typically you have about 2 mm of allowed wear on the rotors before they reach minimum thickness. The minimum thickness is generally stamped on the hat. You wanna have at least 50% left or 1 mm above minimum thickness if you are going for a second set of pads on the same rotors, but keep an eye on the thickness over time. Having said that, the other school of thought is to not use the front rotors for a second set of pads. They are doing most of the work and you really want them to be top notch. I didn't even bother measuring mine and went straight ahead with replacing them. Supposedly, FCP offers free replacement for these rotors. I'm not entirely sure how this works and how they do it, but supposedly you send back the worn rotors and get a fresh ones. I have to inquire in detail about it when the time comes, but I think they rebuild them, but I'm not sure if you have to send in the old rotors first, which would be an issue or if you can order a new set, get them installed and then send back the old ones. Maybe somebody who's done it before can explain it.

Thanks for helpful info on both what Kit# to get and thickness of the rotors. I'm bringing the car in Tuesday and see what they say.

@superswiss The way it works with FCP Euro replacements, is this... when you are ready to replace them, you MUST purchase another set , they will ship the NEW set to you, and then when they get your OLD set back , they will then refund/credit you back the purchase of the new ones. You CANNOT just send in your worn rotors and expect them to send you new/replacements, you MUST purchase a new set each time, and when they get the olds, they refund.

This is correct.

Their warranty policy is set forth on their website: FCP Euro Warranty

WRT rotor wear, don't forget that many (most?) MBZ rotors have wear markers. When the wear-marker/divot/thingie is gone, rotor thickness has expired. The other factors are cracking and gouging of the rotor surface.

The rear rotors are 26mm new and the minimum thickness is 24mm. Stating the obvious, this means that you will have a very noticeable 1mm lip each side of the rotor.

Brembo do a decent rotor for the rear and the ref is 09.B879.11 This is a coated, high carbon rotor, whereas the MB rotors are uncoated.
you should be able to buy these for about half the price of the MB rotors.

If you change them yourself, you don’t even have to remove the calliper carrier, just the calliper body which you will have unbolted from the sliders to allow the pads to be changed.

If you want a rear solution, I make custom rotor hats, not cheap but you only have to buy once and move from disc to disc. This is the black series oem brembo 2 piece rear rotors with c63s calipers on my c43. I wanted the front and back to match
