Air still coming out of the dash vents when system is off. Normal operation?
SubscribeI have only owned the car (21 C63S Cabriolet) for a few weeks but have noticed that a low speed amount of air still comes out of the dash vents when I turn the system completely off. Cooler air comes out when the "AIR" switch is still illuminated and room temperature air comes out when I turn off the AIR switch. The fan setting and AUTO switches are off. This condition is not offensive but I am wondering if this is normal operation or something wrong with the system not allowing the internal vents to completely close. Any input would be appreciated.
On another note, I only have less than 200 miles on the car but I am really enjoying it. Coming out of my 911, the C63s has a great ride and comfort level. It fells like a real Grand Touring car. I'm getting a little frustrated having to keep the revs under 4,500 though!

Is your recirculating button off? For some reason Mercedes will only allow you to run the recirculating feature for a set amount of time then if shuts off allowing fresh air to come in and you’d feel that air while driving for sure.Originally Posted by wings02

Yes, recirculating switch is off. Thank you for your reply!
