Rear axle oil change

If my rear axle oil was not replaced correctly what issues would i experience? Having on going problems which I’m trying to resolve, MB apparently changed the oil but i have no faith in them after finding out they never changed the spark plugs even though they charged for them.

How do you know the plugs weren’t changed?
