Radar detector mounted in car and hardwired

I finished my project of mounting my Radar detector in my C63s. My goal was to not go the suction cup route. Ideally, I would have loved to use my Blendmount rearview mirror mount but as most of you know, this is not possible on a MB rearview mirror. I ended up incorporating part of my Blendmount bracket along with three aluminum pieces I fabricated and powder coated, to attach to my windshield using BLACK high temp 3-M double-sided tape. I hard-wired it to the 12 volt accessory output located in the passenger side foot well. It is a switched circuit. I used an inline mini fuse holder that tucks into the area where the 12 volt socket is mounted.
The windshield mount is very solid and there is no movement in the detector while driving. If anyone want more details please private message me.
