2019 C63S idle/transmission issues
Hey guys,
Its been a while since I've posted here but I need some advice on a few issues with my (new to me) C63S. Vehicle has 18,500 KM and no mods.
Issue number 1 is when the car is at idle in sport + or race i seem to be getting pulsating. Its like a pulse every second (or less) the pulse is stronger when its in gear and I'm stationary but since I've never owned a previous M177 I wasn't sure if this was normal operation or if it's something else.
Issue number 2 is vibration at highway speeds. If I'm going about 90km/h in 6th and just lightly accelerate I get a shudder that feels like its from the drive train. At first i thought it was wheels out of balance but if I let off the throttle the vibration disappears.
Last issue is a hard down shift in sport + or race from 5 to 4. Doesn't have to be at high speed. If I initiate the down shift at about 3K to 4K it thumps. Almost like someone hit the bottom of the car with a rubber mallet. In comfort it won't do it at all.
I had it at the dealership today for issues 2 and 3. They said they updated the transmission and also have a TIPS case open for this. My rear tires are original so they recommended replacing them because they said AMG may not further diagnose vibrations unless they are confident the tires are in good condition.
Just looking for some reassurance on this since I literally just got the thing and really don't enjoy dealing with these nagging issues.
