Wrap Costs & Effects on Car

On a brink of buying a 2021 that has everthing I want beside color (polar white) - not that I don't like it, I just really want a silver or matte grey car.

Wondering how much a FULL wrap (incl door jambs) of something like Avery Dennison to make the car silver, matte silver or matte grey would cost and what it would do to the value of the car? Also, how much does it usually run to remove one of these things if needed?

I am also considering the XPEL stealth route, but because polar white isn't metallic I'm not sure how matte plain white would look...

Thanks everyone!!

I am lucky to have a friend who does it as his side business, so I got a full 3M Satin Dark Gray wrap for $1750. Now that being said, when I was shopping around I was getting quoted anywhere from $5k-$8k for the same thing. I also live in CA so that could have an effect on the price. Haven't had it removed but have heard it costs roughly $1500-$2000 for professional removal, which includes an exterior detail.

Personally I have never seen a colored wrap that looks good on a car. Even wrapping a glossy finish in Xpel Stealth looks so so to me. IMO, they can never match the depth of the factory paints and it ends up looking a bit cheap. If I were wrapping a glossy finish the most I'd ever do is put Stealth on it, but I'd never wrap it in a new color.

Don't do it-you'll get used to color and learn to love it. If you do decide, 5K easy for a whole car. Make sure you use a competent installer, that makes all the difference. Like painting, prep is everything.
