These pictures are pure happiness, and a year and a half of planing. A lot of facts to get out to pain the picture.
- Signed a contact to build a new house May or 2020
- Shortly after signing the contract on the new house I decided that I didn't want my 2019 Porsche 911 any longer, and realized I made a stupid choice of not buying a C63s last year when I had the chance
- Discussed the financial move with my mortgage lady, and she said she would kill me if bought a new car during this process
- Obsessed on Car Gurus website watching inventory numbers falling as the weeks went on
- Started the serious looking process in April of this year. Asked my local dealer if they would order me a car and was flat out told no
- Called around to a lot of MB dealers in Northern California, I live in Reno Nevada and Nor Cal is 2-3 hours from home, and was turned away by all of them except for Mercedes of Oakland. With out hesitation said they had an allocation, and it would be between 4-5 months for delivery
- Spec'ed out the car how my wife and I wanted it, gave a deposit on April 9th (my birthday)
- What you see below is what I have been patiently waiting on. Took delivery at my house today at 3PM pacific time.

No regrets on any of the options other than color. REALLLLLY wanted the flat grey so we could do orange accents on the car, but MB said no more flat grey pick one of these 4 colors. So we went with the Designo Diamond White. Dealer gave me crap for not getting black wheels..... I told him I could get black wheels if he would come over weekly and clean them. My show trucks and previous SEMA vehicles have had black wheels and they are the WORST to keep looking clean and shinny.

No complaints other than I thought the exhaust would have been a tad bit louder in Sport+, but I believe this is an easy fix. Once the break in period is up I will probably start to do the research on the exhaust systems. HAHA!!! Let the madness begin

Congratulations! So you ordered it in April? And took delivery yesterday? I ordered mine on May 8th and it is currently in B6 status (factory ordered/produced not shipped). Do you know how long it took for it to go from B6 status to when it actually shipped to the USA?

Thanks and good luck!
Chris

Yeah, I'm not a fan of them either...... I'm assuming someone has probably done a mod to remove them, or a skilled body guy can remove them with little effort, and make it look good.

I actually don't mind them at all, at least on dark color car. With the small US plates, the Euro bumper looks kinda naked. The bumperettes widen it optically.

They can be removed, but there are cutouts in the bumper that have to be filled and they do protect the bumper.

Gorgeous! I just saw this thread, and glad to see you got diamond white ; ) A twin of my car except you have the silver rims and aero kit. I'd love if you can post more pics whenever you get a chance, because there are very few pics of diamond white coupes online with the stock silver rims. It'll help me decide if I want to keep the black ones mounted, or swap them with the silver ones I bought used (but in excellent condition). The black ones kind of grew on me but as you say they're really hard to keep them looking clean even after just a couple hundred miles.

I took this one when I was over in Oakland two weeks ago signing paperwork the day after it arrived. Took it two weeks to get from Oakland to Reno due to the holiday weekend, and the transporter's truck breaking down on the way here. Let me know what angles you want, and I can DM you some photos.

Car looks great, congrats. With a white car, I think you made the correct decision regarding the rim color.

Congratulations, looks sweet indeed! I like the rims - however I'm not sold on those being any easier to keep clean than black with standard brakes (non CF) -- these cars (with stock pads) throw off dubious amounts of brake dust - you're going to have black rims now anyway Good luck and enjoy your new ride - ton O fun. PS - I got your favorite matte gray color

Edit - for exhaust try the Renntech exhaust module which keeps the exhaust flaps open 100% all the time (unless you push a remote key fob button). I've been happy with mine.

No clue... I figured with the chip shortage I wouldn't see this car until sometime around November'ish.

Go to the dealer, and ask them to show you your order via their dealer app. See if you truly have an allocation. Did the dealer give you a PO# Number?

when exactly did you order it? If it was 6 months ago, you should have gotten updates via their Netstar system. I ordered mine May 7th and it 1-2 days away from arriving at the VPC in Baltimore. Dealer said it should be 5-10 days after hitting the port to the dealer in NJ. Something doesn't sound right with your order. At the very least you should have gotten updates.

Does it have a VIN? That is the step that you know it will actually become a vehicle. I would call/email the dealer to get answers. Keep us posted.

If you have the vin (you can DM it to me) , I can look to see if you have the correct lights, then it can be updated via mod update.
