Winter Storage

Hey all, I'm planning to store my C63S for the winter. I will be using a trickle charger for the battery to keep it alive. I will also be adding some Sta-Bil to the fuel tank. Anything else that others have done?

Depending on how long it's in storage, I've used tire flat Stoppers. They sell them specifically for that, but I use those foam "gym floor" tiles and have one under each tire. To prevent flat spots.

This is a good list of considerations for storing a car for the winter. They don't specifically mention flat spots, but that's definitely something to keep in mind. Avoided if you jack up the car, or as mentioned by using tire cushions. Inflating tires to their maximum pressure is another way to combat it, but don't forget to lower it again before driving the car.

Thanks guys, tire flat stoppers were one other thing that I was considering. I will likely start/move the car a bit maybe once a month as well.

If you do start/move it periodically I recommend you take it for a proper drive, so that everything reaches proper operating temperature and any moisture can evaporate. Don't let it sit and idle to warm up.
