My C63 AMG Edition 507 (2014) has a slight burned oil smell which had developed and I think I have traced it to a drip on the exhaust manifold (rear/left bank) and this is finding its way though the cabin air intake. I’ve just had it serviced recently at Merc. So I was hoping they might have dropped a bit of oil from when changing it, but it’s unlikely that it would be here as it’s very far from the oil filler cap. I can see what looks like a wet/oil drip trail on the exhaust down pipe section. does anyone know what could likely be causing this? naturally big money worries come to mind!!! Valve cover gaskets leaked is well known issue on Mercedes. I personally replaced it myself on my Clk430, Clk500, CL55 and Slk56. Remove your air box and check the valve covers. It might leaked slow onto your exhaust.
