3 options to upgrade infotainment system NTG5

There's 3 options you can do when upgrading the infotainment system.
Option 1 - andriod screen, personally don't like andriod as they glitch and lag. Also don't like having two systems. Touchscreen and screen size is a pro tho.
Option 2 - carplay box, cheaper then the screen and retains oem features with easy switch to carplay, still not a fan of dual systems the oem works fine for me.
Option 3 - keep it oem with the upgrades below

Was contemplating to get an andriod screen purely for aesthetics but I've decided to keep it oem.
1. Ordered 2021 maps £30
2. Tested speed camera installation, they work and cost £10 annually. Easy enough to install
3. Will be purchasing live traffic information from Mercedes me app which is currently 50% OFF at £60
All in all cheaper then aftermarket solutions and keeping it oem for those who don't like aftermarket.

Let me know which one you guys choose and why!

Thanks for laying out the options as this will likely be the first change I make to my car. Personally if I'm going with option two - I may aswell go for option one; the added cost for a better screen is worth it if I'm going to be installing and wiring an add-on system anyway.

RE option 3 - my car has the updated maps subscription (it's a MY18 USDM car) but the NTG5 system is still naff compared to Waze, or even Google maps. I'd still be running Waze as it shows mobile/temporary police/speed traps and other hazards that just won't be picked up the MB system. So all said and done I'm going for option 1 - and other members on the forum have provided really positive feedback on the latest Android 11 units. I was hesitant for the same reasons you mentioned, I have an Android 10 deck in another car and it's still a pain in the *** even though it doesn't have the dual system complexities I would have to deal with in my Merc. There's 2 or 3 different options for an Android 11 screen upgrade for the W205 so I just need to decide on which specific brand to order from (they may all be the same unit but prices and customer support vary).
