C63S rear passenger brake pad worn after 700 miles

Hey everyone. So the title explains itself. I put fresh rear pads on less than a thousand miles ago and already my brake wear sensor has been triggered again. Lane Assist is off and Traction Control is usually kept on except for a few miles of twistys where I put it in Sport handling. This is the second time that premature wear in the rear has occurred in the last 2k miles. The first time this happened I thought it was faulty pads because only the rear side of the pads was worn down on the rear passenger rotor (rear driver side pads were in good shape) but after replacing with fresh pads and having the same results I am now realizing that it has to be a different issue than pads and am hoping someone can offer some insight. I am using the OEM rear brake kit sold by FCP Euro https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mercedes-brake-kit-genuine-mercedes-2314230212

Faulty caliper would be my guess. The rear calipers are floating calipers and the one on the passenger side might be stuck. Was it the same pad (inside or outside)? Sounds like it is, since the sensor is only in one of them. Do you hear any noise when moving or have you measured the rotor temperatures? If the caliper is constantly pressing one of the pads against the rotor it'd be much hotter than the other side.

Are there any ways to get the caliper to stay unstuck and keep it that way or am I going to need to buy a new one? I would be willing to bet that when I check the brakes it'll be the same side of pad on the same rotor wearing down as I am hearing noise while moving coming from that area. I have not measured temperature though. Thank you for your response!

If it's not damaged, then yes you'll have to remove it, clean everything, lubricate the caliper, pins and slides and put it back on.

Cool hopefully it was not damaged by this second round of premature wear. Thank you so much for your insight I will report back after my shop does this for me.

Update: just returned from shop after putting on fresh pads and having the rear passenger caliper/pins/slides relubricated, heat on both calipers now feels even and I don't hear/feel a pad being stuck to the rotor. Before doing this work the passenger side caliper felt much hotter than the driver side after driving and I often heard/felt the pad sticking to the rotor so this feels like an improvement. Hopefully this is the end of the line with this issue but I will update if anything happens. Thank you for your help!
