Yes, that's normal. It's the ticking/clicking sound of the fuel injectors at idle. If you don't hear it then something is wrong. Kinda does make it sound like a tractor at idle, but it is what it is.

I know that the injector tick is normal, but the sound I am referring to is a "tok tok" kind of sound. Its hard to hear with the injectors but its there. I have included another video I hope its easier to hear it.

I'm still not entirely sure I'm hearing anything unusual between the injectors and the wind blowing into the microphone. Perhaps I have to listen to my engine to compare, but from memory nothing jumps out at me. More like the more I'm listening to it, the more harmonics I'm hearing.

After searching around. This one doesn’t make that noise. But the majority of c63s make the same tickling sound. When I first got mine it was whisper quiet till about 10k miles. 55k miles now and no problems at all

sorry to open up this thread again but did you ever get to the bottom of this tok tok noise? My car W205 C63 is producing the exact same sound on idle and it definitely doesn’t sound normal. Please do reply if you ever got it sorted as could desperately do with some help 🙏
