What do you guys think? I want the AMG 4 cylinders engine because of the dual clutch automatic. The V6 supercharger is not much faster. A tuned on the AMG engine will be faster then the V6.
Im on the list put my deposit in last August after seeing it at the Quail... still no comms in the US lol ... i am getting the AMG...i think the first edition is too much dont need all that crap lol!!

No, this is not the car to have in an automatic IMO. Also, the AMG engine is already "pretty wound up". It's a 2.0L engine that AMG has already massaged to be within reasonable reliability. This is no "japanese engine" or VAG 4 cylinder engine where the avg Joe Schmoe can claim to "tune it" better than the AMG folks. I mean, really...
But this car isn't the one to have if you're still looking for the "best 0 to 60 or 1/4 mile runs". There are far better cars for that. This is the car you consider if you're shopping against a Cayman that seems to be everywhere and don't give you any sense of uniqueness. If you're looking for an HP car, then try to get a Corvette C8 which you can easily get to 800 hp.
