*****Looks like someone really really hates that guy! I've seen some of his postings on other sites. Gonna assume it is the same guy as I do remember his saying he had bought his dad a Ferrari and had all manner of other cars from various business ventures/websites, etc..
Guess it's kind of like Facebook where so many people seem to be good looking, super rich, taking exotic vacations everywhere, and just having the perfect life... The reality being they are in debt up to their eyeballs, everything is leased or made up, and their perfect kids are downloading or uploading **** while trying to support a heroin habit... In this case, he seems to just live with his folks still in a really nice area, and someone else seems to be paying for much of what he is purportedly showing off as his.
Seems like the same BoostAddict.

Yeah this is big news actually. He owned dozens of car related sites and he has pissed off dozens, maybe even hundreds of people over the years. Every major online car website wont allow you to even type the names of his forums, they get replaced with asterisks. Let me try here.. mercedesboost boostaddict bimmerboost. All of these sites, and every other boost site he owned have been seized to pay off a 4.5 million dollar judgement. This guy is F'ed for life with a judgement like that hanging over him. If he files bankruptcy he is again F'ed for at least 7 years. Looks like Karma got him good this time....

This guy Joseph Wilk is a scumbag. Glad he was taken down. I don’t think a BK will rid the judgement easily. It’s not always a slam dunk. Tort law… it will be up to Judges and trustees. For the sake of the car community, I hope it “sticks” with him forever.

I mean, I make a decent living, have a decent job and some marketable skills, but it would be tough for me to spend so much money like this guy did and not at least have *something* to show for it! A pair of nice sunglasses, plastic **** (really really big ones) for the girlfriend, a personal trainer for the wife, a leased 2015 Nissan Altima with sweet rims, etc..
I don't get it. Dude looks like a total douchbag too, and this coming from someone who kinda looks like that too with my skinny jeans and wearing a stupid looking alarm clock on a chain around my neck, while carrying a perfectly good phone that tells me the time.
Believe me, I know douchbaggery, and that ********* dude who is in trouble now has got some problems now that will for sure follow him around for life... I feel better about myself now...

According to the lawsuit, he didn't spend 4.5 million dollars on anything. He said some defamatory statements about a PORSCHE forum member and he was sued. He LOST 4.5 million in a Judgment, he didn't spend it on anything. So, now the guy is trying to collect on the Judgement and took his websites presumably as an asset or property. Bro, this guy must have done some bad ***** to be in this spot. If he loses his websites his business is over. He surely doesn't have 4.5 million to pay and he owes over a thousand a day in interest so its impossible for him to ever catch up. You have to wonder how it got to this point. It's a default judgement which means he probably ignored every lawyers letter and court document and did nothing when he was getting sued. If thats the case he deserves what he gets because that's the stupidest thing you can do. You think when you get a parking ticket if you throw it in the trash that it goes away? That $25 ticket becomes hundreds right quick in penalties, late fees and interest and ultimately goes on your registration so you can't sell or re-register your car until its paid. The Legal system is no joke...

But yea, ignoring every lawyers letter is a really bad idea, same as ignoring IRS or parking tickets, etc.. Many years ago when I first joined the forums I had the misfortune of interacting with a member named Sticky, who I came to discover was named Joseph Wilk. We had some entertaining arguments and banter back and forth on Rennlist where I eventually tired of his nonsense and made him a $10,000 wager that basically everything he was claiming about his car (like 0-60 times, 1/4 mile, HP numbers, etc) was BS. He never accepted the bet, the forum members jumped on the bandwagon and he was eventually banned. He has returned many times under phony usernames and IP addresses, but he can't help himself and eventually gets outed and banned again. This has happened maybe a dozen times.
I later find out that he owned multiple automotive websites, all under the .boost name. Rennlist mods are so fed up by him that they actually banned the web address from even being written here, which is why you see the asterisks ****** when anyone tries to type the website p o r s c h e b o o s t.com. So, fast forward a few weeks after our interaction, I get a call from a friend who says "buddy, WTF is this website about you?" and I ask what website and sure enough it's one of Joseph Wilk's sites, ****************. The guy is so unhinged that he decided to write an entire article about me and my family using my real name, home address, phone numbers, kids names, wife's name, email addresses... you get the idea. In addition, he writes some more about how I am a crook who steals your identity, sells fake parts..yada yada yada. Kinda crazy as I never met this guy in my life, never bought or sold anything to or from him and he goes hog wild over a Rennlist post.
I send him an email to take it down it and he refuses. I hire a lawyer to send him a cease and desist letter and he refuses. I try to serve him legal papers and he goes into hiding. I hire a private investigator to trick him into a business meeting and he gets served in the parking lot. Fast forward... after 13 months of stake outs, process servers and a full blown lawsuit, the court awards me 4 million in damages. Keep in mind he STILL refuses to take down the defamatory article and rather than try and settle like any normal person would, he doubles down and buys my domain name, my wife's domain name, both of my kids domain names, my wifes maiden name... you get the idea. He continues to post new defamatory content every few weeks on youtube, miscellaneous blog sites and keeps updating content on **************** whenever a picture from a local charity event or gathering pops up on Google about me or my family.
Without giving away too much information as this is ongoing and there is a lot more happening behind the scenes, legal papers were served on GoDaddy and every single one of his sites has been taken down. Not just the domains he purchased in my family's name, but every one of his .boost domain names as well. They are assets and were seized in an effort to pay the judgement which is now well over 4.5 million. Can he get them back up? I don't know, but I'm sure he's going to try and I have my lawyers waiting if he does. There are so many more things in play now that I cannot disclose, but if Rennlist allows this thread to remain live I will update it as things happen.
Be careful who you deal with on the Internet, you never know the personalities hiding behind the keyboard and if they are crazy, jealous or just haters. Thats why I don't post pics of my cars anymore.. you never know if someone is going to reverse lookup your name and address from a License plate search or try and steal your wheels when the car is parked in your driveway because you posted a pic in front of your mailbox in some random thread...

WOW, just WOW. There has to be a criminal component here. How can someone legally be allowed to do this? I guess this is a lesson for everyone, be careful what you write and be careful who you interact with. I hope this guy gets what he deserves and it sounds like thats what's happening. Losing your websites, owing millions in a judgement and who knows what else is going on and still refusing to take down a stupid article about a complete stranger? Boy, this guy is not only stubborn as a mule but about as smart as one too..

Looks like the mods have deleted that second thread over on Rennlist. I have been following this for over a year as I find it to be extremely informative and entertaining. The last posts on the thread indicated that Joseph Wilk successfully had 1m of the 4m judgement sent back to the lower courts to be recalculated. That 1m was "punitive damages" and they were not vacated, but sent back to a lower court to determine what that amount should be. The courts still awarded punitive damages to PTS-BRG, but wanted to recalculate the amount. The rest of the award was upheld, so he still owes over 3m plus interest. Wilk also lost his appeal, so this seems to be check mate as there isn't much more in the legal process he can do to prevail on the actual judgement of 3m plus punitive damages which I suppose will be recalculated and added to the 3m. There was a lot of discussion about Wilk possibly filing for bankruptcy, but I have no idea if he has done so yet.
I notice none of the .boost sites have ever come back online, I assume they belong to PTS-BRG or are still frozen in litigation, but I dont see what value they have to either side after they have been offline for nearly a year. It's not like they were ever premier sites to begin with, but they are still down. I also notice that Sticky has been completely MIA on the internet. He hasn't posted on any forums, Facebook, IG or anywhere since this has all unfolded, so if nothing else comes of this we no longer have to listen to his stupid rants about Trump and fictitious dyno charts or BS about the worlds fastest Carrera. I do wonder if PTS ever repossessed his car as that was also something that was being discussed.

When we were like 12 years old and those forums were brand new, I used to hang out with Joe. I don't want to say too much but he was always a pile of trash and im not surprised his websites ended this way. If he wasn't such trash, at some point I would have helped him with those sites because I know how to take your traffic and monetize it. Hes hooked on booze, he was doing coke last time I saw him, he was never a good person, but he was often times really funny. Hes like a broken clock, hes an ******* all the time and funny 2 times a day.
Anyways that was a long time ago. I never gave a **** about cars, randomly googled him because I was using him as an example of what happens to spoiled children today. I guarantee you, he deserves this.

I reached out to the guy suing Joe via the email address on the website. He is still going full steam ahead and nothing has changed. He said in the next 30-60 days a lot is going to happen as court dates are approaching. He said he thinks Joe is going to file Bankruptcy in the near future.

I was a Porsche 718 GTS owner before I ordered my AMG in the spring of 2021, and I was active on a few Porsche boards. I vaguely remember this guy coming up from time to time. I mainly lurk to see what the latest nonsense is. After reading this thread, you posting the document, I had to read it to see how bad it really was.
