DESIGNO PEARL WHITE VS POLAR WHITE
New member here.. trying to decide between these 2 color options.. I did see the polar white in my town and really like how bright it is.. How does the Designo white compare? In pictures it looks like a mat white..
While Designo white is quite striking, it's a pain when you want to repair a rock chip. The touch-up paint provides all 3 paint layers, but it's impossible to apply them to when patching rock chips (at least it was for me). I could never get an "almost invislbe" rock-chip repair.
By contrast, the Polar white is a nice bright white that's nowhere near as striking as Designo white in the sunlight, but it's fairly easy to get an "almost invisible" rock-chip repair using the touch-up paint ... and, unfortunately, if you drive a car without PPF on our highways, you _will_ get rock chips -- regularly (I'm now getting reasonable at applying PPF <sigh>
.
